The Significance of Communication
(1) As the old saying goes "A heart-to-heart talk is the link to emotion, and communication is the bridge to success". Apparently, the proverb (2) lays stress on the significance of communication.
Since the world is now becoming increasingly diversified, communication is considered as the optimal way to settle conflicts and make a harmonious world. (3) One of the most common complaints today is that there are so many differences between the old and the young generations that they always (4) fail to understand each other and lots of disputes arise accordingly. Children may deem parents old-fashioned while parents may come to the conclusion that the young are getting wild.  Actually, if they can communicate effectively, parents may understand their children, and young people will reconsider their behavior and accept reasonable suggestions from parents.
Communication is a necessity in the interpersonal interaction. Communication plays a role (5) on the premise that we should understand each other and acknowledge our differences. Remember: where there is a communication, there is a way.
