A．The best way to approach this problem is to look for a pattern in the first few powers of 3．The first several powers of 3 are 31=3，32=9，33=27．34=81．and 35=243．The next power 36 will end in a 9(the result of multiplying the last 3 by 3)．The next power will end in a 7，resulting from the multiplication of the last 9 and the 3．The pattern of the last digits is thus 3，9，7，1，3，9，7，1，and so on，repeating every four powers．The number l08 is a multiple of 4，and thus 3108 will end in 1，just as with every fourth power of 3(34，38，etc．)．
